Wedding Cards with Tailgate Marked Collection

In the northern hemisphere we are heading into summer and wedding season. This week I decided I needed to do a few wedding cards and I chose the gorgeous Tailgate Marked collection to make my cards.

For my first card I chose the gorgeous Bygone Era paper as my base. I added a doily from my stash and started piling the card with flowers from my stash. Calla lilies always remind me of weddings so I tucked one in my flower cluster here. To finish off the card I stitched around the edge of the card base and the photo!

For my second card I used the Poppy paper for my base. I always like to make themed cards in sets and I again stitched around my card base and photo for this card and tucked a doily underneath. For this one I also piled on the flower and added a sumptuous bow of ribbon and lace.

I absolutely love all the paper collections the Connie designs. Tailgate Marked is a gorgeous vintage set in my favorite blues and browns and is a standby favorite for me.  I hope you enjoyed these cards, and thank you so much for visiting!!

Vintage Venture Cards

Vintage Venture Cards.

Jeg håber, I alle er kommet godt ind i det nye år.

Jeg synes, det er sjovt at lave kort i atypiske størrelser.

Her er kortene lavet i 8,5x20cm. Jeg har i gemmerne fundet matchende kort

og kuverter, og så var det jo egentlig bare et spørgsmål om at komme i gang.

Her ses resultatet. Jeg har primært brugt papir fra Vintage Venture serien.

Dog er det super lækre og meget anvendelige papir med træstruktur fra Tailgate Marked.

Til det første kort har jeg brugt forskellige dies. De nederste er Border fra Cheery Lynn.

Jeg har også brugt en EKsucces punch.

Bladene i kraft karton er udskåret med en die.

Chipboards er fra Wycinanka.

Jeg har brugt lidt Washi-tape i kanterne,og så har jeg påført lidt glitter paste gennem en stencil.

Bånd og Twine er fra shoppen.

Til det næste kort har jeg brugt dies fra Tim Holtz Mixed Media, Spellbinders, Sue Wilson og Memory Box.

Rammen er støbt med stengips i silicone form.

Jeg har brugt Ink-it blomst med en metal charm oveni.

Sommerfuglen er lavet med en die fra Memory Box.

Håber I har kunnet finde lidt inspiration her.

Hej

Jeg har dykket ned i de skønne papir fra 

*Tailgate Marked*

og lavet dette kort med masser af Ink-it blomster

Blomsterne er sprayet med Distress stain spray i farven Hickory Smoke samt hjemmelavet glimmermist. Jeg har blandet hvid + sølv + guld perfect pearls i en vand mister og fået en super lækkert shine-mist.

Shakerkort med Glass Glitter

Hej.

Denne uge vil jeg vise jer et shaker kort med Glass Glitter.



 Jeg har brugt papirerne Tailgate Marked "Farfalla" og Vintage Venture "Blossoms".

 

 Glass Glitter er Sølv og Petrol.

Petrolfarvede blomster, hvide  blomster, twine, silkebånd og inkede Wycinanka hjerter udgør pynten.

Snart står Convention for døren, jeg ser frem til en hyggelig og kreativ weekend.

Artist Trading Cards (ATC's) by Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone!!

Its Keren here with something a little different for you today.

 I created Artist Trading Cards better known as ATC's

Its a series of three ATC's called:

"Winds of change"

All three ATC's were designed with the same paper as the background: the Fall Flea Market Classifields paper. 

To add texture, I sprayed and sprinkled teal and golden shades. Then I added a chipboard dandelion which was painted in teal acrylic paint and then given a sparkly touch with Riddersholm Turquoise glitter.

Finally I added a small Ink it Cherry Blossom flower which was sprayed in Antique gold ink. I also fussy cut a small butterfly and a sentiment to each one.

These cards are being traded with friends from around the world!!

Happy: A Tailgate Marked Layout by Cathi

Hello fellow crafters, Cathi here!! This week I have a layout using the gorgeous Byegone Era paper from the Tailgate Marked line. It has a very nautical feel to it so I chose a photo of my girls on the water!

I used lots of mists molding pastes and stamps on this layout and added gorgeous Wycinaka chipboard.

I added some gorgeous blue Riddersholm netting behind my photo along with a tag journalling our day. I added some shells here and there to go along with the waterside theme! Here again you can see all the masking misting stamping and splashing in my background!

I used lots of Prima and Petaloo flowers from my stash as well as a gorgeous Riddersholm cutout tag.

I had fun making this layout and adding depth and texture to the background. I also pulled out the colors in my daughters shirt to use in the layout, lots of fun!

Its Keren here with another layout for Riddersholm Design.

I used the Fall Flea Market Vintage Junk paper for the background.
Then I matted the photo with small scraps from the Fall Flea Market Classifields paper and Tailgate marked

The title and cut-outs were also from the Tailgate marked papers. One of the cut-outs is a little quote that says: "There's no psychiatrist in this world like a puppy licking your face". I just thought this quote was perfect as this is a picture of our puppy licking my son's face.

I embellished with chipboard, resin and flowers too.

Et sødt lille badge...

Hej.

Denne uge har jeg lavet et kort hvor jeg har brugt et af de små søde Riddersholm Badges som sentiment.

Papirer er fra Tailgate Marked og Vintage Pink. 

Jeg har punchet 2 tags som pynt på kortet.

Pynten består af Wycinanka hjerter, Ink-It blomster, twine, halvperler og fjer. 

Jeg har brugt 3d puder under alle papirlag for at give kortet god dybde

Alle papirlag og Wycinanka hjerter er inket med Pumic Stone Distress Ink.. 

Der er ikke så meget hokus-pokus ved dette kort, og det er faktisk hurtigt at lave også :)

'Special friends' by Marta + VIDEO tutorial

Hello everyone,

It is Marta Lapkowska here!

I am was delighted when I was asked to join the Riddersholmdesign group as a guest designer. Creating your art with most beautiful papers is like a dream. I could not wait to get my hands on stunning paper collections from Connie.

Today I would love to share with you my first creation.

I created layered card and some small treat for you - VIDEO tutorial.

I used mix of two stunning paper collections Vintage Venture and Tailgate Marked.

You will see beautiful colours, details and patterns on all the pages.

You can see the whole creative process.
I hope you will enjoy my make and find some inspiration for yourself.

Kort med stitched dies og glitter

Hej.

Her i den danske sommer, er det jo indevejr = scrapvejr ind i mellem.

Jeg har lavet dette kort i mine favoritfarver, i know ;)

Jeg har brugt papirer fra Vintage Venture og Tailgate Marked. 

Alle lagene er standset ud med en rektangulær stitched die i forskellige størrelser. Jeg kan desværre ikke huske producenten, da jeg pakker alle mine dies ud og opbevarer dem i mappen eller i mine Avery Elle lommer.

Hjertet er fra Scrapbook Adhesives, dobbeltklæbende, som har fået lidt Martha Stewart glitter. 

Der er pyntet med ostelærred, silkebånd, små roser, glittertape og halvperler. 

En enkelt lille sort papirclips er sat på forneden.

Det var alt for mig i dag, ha´en rigtig dejlig dag :)

Butterfly Air Mail Layout

 

A warm welcome Ridderholm Design Friends :) Today is my first turn, to show you some inspirations with the gorgeous stuff from Ridderholm Design.

Today I show you my first (actually it's already the second) work for Riddersholm Design. I have designed a layout, and used the beautiful papers from the Tailgate Marked Collection. The papers are of high quality and can be processed just fine. I really like the vintage style.

You can see butterflies everywhere, so they are 'landed' on my layout :) 'Butterfly Air Mail' can be found as writing two times on my layout. Once done on the small Tag right down and as separate lettering with my Dymo Labeler.

First I painted the paper with gesso and used a mask from Prima Marketing to create the background. Riddersholm Design has recently German Glass Glitter in various colors and thicknesses (fine and coarse) and I wanted to try them. In addition I have mixed light blue coarse Glitter Glass and acrylic paste. This then dries transparent, so that the structure and the nice Glitter comes to light.

 

I have put more accents with light blue and medium blue color sprays from Prima Marketing. The various layers of pattern paper I glued above the other. In addition, I used white gauze and silk ribbon from Melissa Frances. For the decoration I glued various blossoms and flowers, as well as beads frills and pearls into the flowers.
