Christmas Caroling..........

Who doesn't like a little Christmas caroling.  Gets a soul into the spirit of Christmas.  So do these charming images from Riddersholm using  A Christmas Story  line .   Old fashion and so nostalgic!  I also used a wood applique from the store..that beautiful bird with the vine.  Love how it frames out my image.    This just makes me want to jump a in sled and start singing "Jingle Bells"...how about you?  Hope you enjoy!   Cherry

Hej

En af mine favorit farve kombinationer er lyseblå og sand, så 

Fall Flea Market serien, er den som jeg oftes griber ud efter. 

Jeg har lavet en halvkran af små blade som er standset ud i kraft karton. Bladene er limet på en cirkel som er standset ud i papiret: Ballon, et lækkert design ark med noder.

Alle de små prikker er lavet med Liquid pearls og Enamel accents.

Christmas bells.......

                 I don't know about you but I love hunting for unique vintage items to alter.  I was lucky enough to find a couple of vintage bell mini tart pans and decided to create ornaments from them.  I sprayed it first with white spray paint and let it cure.  From there I covered the outline of the bell and  the inside with vintage tinsel.  I picked an image from  A Christmas Story and adhered it to a glass cabochon.  I than adhered a vintage rhinestone brooch to the top of the image as a "frame".   From here I just had fun adding bits and bobs....I did some bead work and added vintage jewelry pieces and let them hang from inside.  I added heaps of red seam binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.  More vintage jewelry on top and a  metal star and I was done.  I had so much fun creating this...hope you enjoy!  hugs, cherry

Believe...........

Hello and salutations to you!  I have had my Riddersholm goodies very close by in the last couple of weeks...with the holidays fast approaching..how could I not?  Such beautiful patterns and images for Christmas.  I have had fun lately making several large tags with matching envelopes and decided to embellish this one with the A christmas story collection.  I also used some gorgeous wood appliques..the tree and the believe from the store.  Well hope you enjoy... I will have a few more to share soon!  Cherry

Merry Christmas

 Hello everyone, my name is Beatriz Jennings, I am so happy to be Guest Designer for RD, I just love using these beautiful papers!! Today I  want to show you a card using some of the papers that can be found HERE

My card today is very simple, but I love the colors and embellishments. I like that lovely Santa image and the cute tree, I also use some the stamps to create that letters pattern on the paper. I will be showing you more projects soon.

Fall-ing?

I'm usually very ambivalent when it comes to Autumn. On one hand, it's a very beautiful season, with all the wonderful colors of the foliage, on the other, it's a season of decay and cold. However, I decided early on that I wasn't going to let the bad things about Autumn get to me this year, because after the most fantastic Summer ever, I actually felt ready for it. So, I set out to enjoy the small things, like the beauty of this scenery  - a small lake nearby on a crisp, sunny Autumn afternoon walk.

I have used papers from the Fall Flea Market and raw chipboard pieces from Wycinanka on my layout.

Jeg har brugt et nye julepapir Our Country Christmas. Jeg har stempler nogle julekugler og i den store har jeg stemplet en lille fin rød label fra Ink-It stempelsættet

Jeg er startet på årets julebog, a la min december daily. I får her kun forsiden, resten følger senere ;)

Forsiden er pyntet med papir fra "A Christmas Story" og "The Day Before"

Derudover er der pyntet med bånd, thickers pyntet med lidt gesso, samt punchede snefnug, fra border-punchen øverst.

De små snefnug stemplet på det lyse papir er fra de nye julestempler

Juletræerne er fra Wyzinanka fra shoppen

De har fået lidt gesso som sne,og POP Microbeads til at give lidt mere struktur.
