Christmas Papers Aren't Just for Christmas by Cathi

I have so many beautiful Riddersholm papers in my stash and this week when looking for the perfect pinks to match my vintage image, I found them in the gorgeous Christmas Story line!!!

Here you can see the gorgeous flowers from my stash nestled around my image. I have added gorgeous Wycinaka chatelaine chipboard. I added a fun "moments" lightbulb from Prima as well.  My base page is called Nebula and the lighter pink paper tucket under the photo is called Father Claus, both from the Christmas Story line.

I added some masking to the background of my pages and added the gorgeous Riddersholm Designs Glitter Glass in clear. I have added a gorgeous Reneabouquet butterfly whose colors and roses fit in perfectly with this layout.

To finish off my layout I added some tiny text, another Wycinaka flourish chipboard and some stitching around the edges. Christmas isn't just for Christmas anymore!!!

Christmas Cards with Christmas Story Papers!

This week I thought I'd get a head start on my Christmas cards! I used the gorgeous Christmas Story papers full of gorgeous muted pinks, greens and browns.

As usual, there are some gorgeous cut out images in the collection. I used this vintage Santa image and layered three sheets from the collection. For all my cards I used stunning red poinsettia blooms and for this card I added some pine cones, sparkles and a brad. I finished off the card with a twine loop bow.

I took another gorgeous image from the Christmas Story collection and set it on top of a gorgeous doily made from the papers. Again I used the poinsettias, pine cones and brads to decorate this card, adding a silk ribbon bow and a tag with a Christmas sentiment. For the finishing touch I did some stitching around the card's edge.

For my final card I took an image from my stash and then layered on lots of flowers, another poinsettia and some gorgeous Ink-It Cherry Blossoms. I added twine around the card and as a bow. Finally, I added stitching for a finishing touch.

Chocolate boxes

Hi, 

Summer holidays are nearly there, time to reward teachers for their hard work all year with our kids. Here in Ireland but also in Poland we have this nice tradition of giving small gifts to the teachers. Today I would like to present chocolate boxes. which are also some form of a handmade card.

A Christian essence

Hi there,

Easter is coming and you need to know that in Poland we celebrate it in quite religious way. I believe it's a bit different to other countries where it is more like spring holiday.

As you can imagine my cards have more to do with the Christians essence of the Easter. Last few years I have created Easter cards which are simple but at the same time reminds about what those days are about. Therefore I decided to show simplicity and dignity at once to get that strong effect.

I found Riddersholm Design papers very useful as a background for that cross made of two ordinary sticks painted white.

Winter Wilderness

I used Tim's Sizzix Die Bell Jar for the shape. There is a little reflection in the photo because of the layer of acetate on the top.

Christmas Tree Exploding Box

Hi everyone,

 Let me invite you to my very first inspiration on Riddersholm Design blog.

:)

I would like to show you Christmas Tree Exploding Box.I cut and formed cone. Next I cut out lots of MS twigs and stuck them to the cone from the bottom making a Xmas tree. Then I decorated that with a text, beads and star on the top

I used beautiful paper OurCountry Christmas.
On the side walls of the box I glued pictures of mini paper "A Christmas Story".
