Huntington Garden layout!

Nadia Cannizzo here, sharing a layout I recently created using the beautiful Huntington Garden collection.

I drew inspiration for this design from a class I took recently with the very talented Finnabair while she was in Sydney, and I decided to use some of the techniques I learnt on the day with the very soft colours of the Huntington Garden collection.

Jeg har lavet et kort hvor jeg har brugt den lækre serie Vintage Pink, jeg kommer i forårshumør ved at bruge de søde farver.

You always make my heart smile....

Salutations to you!  Cherry here for Riddersholm Designs today!  I have a sweet little vintage card for you.  I have been wanting to create a mosaic heart for awhile now.  I have seen so many pretty creations using them.  I wanted a tattered old fashion look and knew my Riddersholm papers would be perfect.   I started with several of the beautiful papers mixing collections.  I used Huntington Garden and A Christmas Story for my background papers.  I die cut a heart from the vintage Junk paper from the  Fall Flea Market  line .  I used the diecut for my pattern and where I wanted to place my buttons.  I played around with them and layered them.  Once I knew where I wanted them I used hot glue to adhere them.  I added some corrugated cardboard I shabbied up to the bottom portion of the card.  From there I added my sentiments and seam bindings.  I had to tuck a sweet Paper rose into the middle of the ribbon and I was done!  Hope you enjoy...and maybe try or own heart out?   Great way to use up some of those buttons we all like to stash!   hugs, cherry

Jeg har lavet et lay out med søde Beathe og Fall flea market passer perfekt til dette billede.

En skøn kombination af lyse brune og blå farver,

 det er altid et sikkert hit.

Blomsterne er Ink-it flowers fra shoppen

Chipboardet er designet af Connie selv og er fra Wycinanka. Jeg har clear embosset det så det er helt blankt og skinner rigtig flot IRL

Hello my Friends,

Last summer my family and I had a wonderful holiday. 

Beautiful place, sun, peace and quiet.... I love it so much...

So I made this sentimental layout, with a photo of my son, 

who was spending great time on a boat...

I used beautiful papers from Fall Flea Market collection,

 I just love this combination of beige and blue...

Anna i design teamet holdt et kursus hos Riddersholm i slutningen af 2012, hvor kursisterne skulle lave et lay out med mange lag og Anna's skønne lay out var jeg bare nød til at lifte :o)

Farm girls friday

Connie have challenged us to make some Easter cards. The demand was the CAS style, pastel colors and some craft carton.

A small gift set

Hi all

A colleague of mine helped us a lot when we got our son. Therefore I made this little set for her - a little box containing a little chocolate and a matching card size 4"x4"

A determined little lady

Have I told you how much I love the Huntington Garden collection? I thought I had used up my very last scraps of it, but I bet you can imagine how happy I was when I discovered I actually had a few sheets more in my to-go case, which I bring along to crops and when we go to our country house. Lucky me! So, I made this layout with a photo of a very determined little lady.

I have used Dylusions Ink Spray in the color Crushed Grape to create the splashes and runnings on the background paper, and I decided to color some Ink It-flowers with the same spray to match, and just look how cool they turned out. I have no idea where that teal shade in the middle came from, since I only used purple spray, but I'm amazed at how these flowers transform themselves in ways you never know when you add color to them.
