Debbie here today to share a card I made using the gorgeous Vintage Venture papers.

I water coloured a Magnolia image using Distress Reinkers and decorated using DooHickey Dies.

Shimmerz og stencils

Til min DT dag i dag, har jeg lavet et kort med Vintage Venture serien.

Så snart jeg er på den anden side af jul, trænger jeg altid til forår!

Så kortet er i lyse forårsfarver.

  Jeg har brugt kortbase, karton, papir, stencil og Shimmerz.

Jeg har brugt en spatel til at lave skyer, med hvid Shimmerz og stencil.

Derefter har jeg med en hård pensel påført lidt lyseblå Shimmerz rundt omkring på papiret.

Efter tørring er det dekoreret med tyl, washitape, scrappers-floss (fundet i gemmerne under oprydning!) Ink-it flowers, og halvperler. Hovedparten er fra Riddersholm Shoppen.

God fornøjelse, jeg håber i er blevet inspireret til bl.a. at prøve de lækre Shimmers farver... de matcher Riddersholm papiret så perfekt!

snefnug i flere forskellige størrelser som er skåret ud i kvist karton og har fået nogle lette
strøg med Snow paint.

Home Sweet Home

2014 was a lot about being away from home. I travelled to Austria and Denmark, and I also went for road trips around here in Sweden. Moreover, I got a promotion at work early on in February, which left me working far more hours away from home than I thought I ever would. When you lead a busy life like that, your home base becomes so important. If I didn't have the open space and fresh air of my farm to return to, I'm not sure I would have made it through to the end of the year. That's what this layout is all about.

I have used the fantastic Vintage Venture collection. I just love the vintage feel of it, and the colors. Every time I get my hands on a new Riddersholm collection, I think that it must be the best one yet, and this one is no exception. It simply is the best one yet! Again!

Here is a couple of close-ups. I have ripped the papers into strips, which I have layered and dabbled whith gesso. I have also used a stencil and some texture paste to add something extra for the bakground. Oh, and check out those gorgeous Wycinanka chipboards! I painted them black and added some gesso there too.

And with this I would like to wish you all a great weekend, wether it will be a busy one with roadtrips and fun, or a calm one with time to relax in your home.

Vintage venture

                      Have you gotten yourself some vintage venture?   Such a lovely paper collection.  There are blues,, pinks, smoky grey....great everyday collection but with the soft pinks also great for Valentines day.   I have been busy making a few.  I used Carte and farewell and created a faux front to an envelope.  I added ribbons, stamped tag, an image from the collection along with a embossed chipboard label that I embossed in gold with a stamp.  I topped it all off with a vintage rhinestone earring.   Hope you enjoy!  thanks, cherry

Mini album

Hi There,

Teo here again. Today I would like to show you mini album made of beautiful papers - Tailgate Marked and Vintage Venture. I used a die to cut shape of the pages. There are wedding pictures on each page - source of loving memories. The album can be tied with lovely beige ribbon.

Hi friends, Cathi here!! I thought I'd start the New Year off with a big JUMP! 

I think this gorgeous paper from Vintage Venture is very modern looking and I wanted to pair it with a photo I have been wanting to use of my daughter jumping off of sand dunes at the beach this summer. The modern feel fits the photo of my young daughter, as well as the fun camera and arrow  chipboards from Wycinaka.

You can see many layers here on my layout. I started with a whitewash of gesso, on which I stamped a live laugh love stamp. I fussy cut a vintage balloon from the Vintage Venture collection to layer underneath my photo, I thought it fit the "soar" title I gave the photo.  The balloon image has lots of ropes and netting on it and so I thought it would be fun to tie into that with some twine across the layout.  I also used a garden wall stencils and my Gritty Graphite Texturez by Shimmerz to add some texture to the layout.

I used lots of gorgeous Prima blooms and added in some shells from my stash. I added some cut outs from the Tailgate Marked collection to finish it all of.

I hope we all get a chance to SOAR in 2015!
