Summer memories with Our Country Christmas

Yeah, I know, these are Christmas papers. And I know, it is WAY too early to start thinking about Christmas. However, I have had to restrain myself from using them, because they are just so lovely. And now, I couldn't bear it anymore.

This is not a Christmas layout, though. The photo is from this summer, and the great thing about the Our Country Christmas collection is that many of the papers are very neutral. This makes the collection truly versatile.

 I have worked with washi tape, stripes of patterned paper, gesso and mist to build up my background

The paper doily is colored with black mist, and I have used tons and tons of my most recent obsession - wood veneer decorations - because they work so well with the neutral color scheme of the papers.

It is all about the woof today here at Riddersholm Designs!  Love me some sweet doggie images...along with that gorgeous Victorian lady!  All the papers are from both the Tailgate and A Christmas Story lines.  Seriously gorgeous!  Enjoy, cherry

Biker girl

Boy, was I happy when I saw that one of the papers from Tailgate Marked had a bit of pink in it! I had this photo of my daughter on my desk, and I really, really wanted to scrap it. Can you see how proud she is of her new bike? So, I went berserk with gesso, mist and ink to make the background even more colorful, and here we are - a layout that matches my colorful girl, and her bike!

 And then I just had to add a little chipboard bicycle from Wycinanka to top it off.

Tailgate Market og sommerfugle

Tailgate Maket papirerne egner sig godt til rigtig mange forskellige stilarter i kort, synes jeg.

Både lag-på-lag, CAS osv.

Her har jeg lavet lidt enkelt kort, med udstandsninger.

 To lag papir fra Tailgate Market, blad dies fra Memory Box og sommerfugledies fra Cherry Lynn.

 Lille bladdie er udstandset i glitterkarton. Brunt og guld glimmertape fra American Crafts og sticker hjerter dyppet i Martha Stewart glimmer.

Wupti, et kort kan hurtigt sættes sammen.

Jeg gør tit det, at når jeg har papirrester, så udstandser jeg det til blade, grene, sommerfugle eller andet, som man næsten altid kan bruge til pynt til et kort. Det har jeg så samlet i en box, som er nem at finde frem eller tage med hvis  man skal på farten. Jeg så at Gitte, vores egen designer havde sådan en lille æske med engang, og det var så nemt at gå til.

God fornøjelse med scrapperiet :)

It's a dog's life...

Hello there folks!  Cherry here sharing some fun whimsical tags using the tailgate collection along with flower cabochons and a bit of ribbon.   Love these silly Victorian images of dogs and had to create something with them!  Enjoy!  cherry

CAS kort med Tailgate Market

Et kort, der ikke behøver tage ret lang tid at lave, er nogle gange en løsning, der er brug for...jeg kan i hvert fald godt stå og mangle et "her og nu" kort.



Dette er lavet med en fjerdie fra Memory Box.

Ganske enkelt kort med 3 udstandsede fjer, washitape, Wood Veneers pile og en craft-tag fra Simple Stories

Can you believe it's September??!!!.....and the forcast for the week is looking good too....Well here in the UK anyway! :D

 For my card today I used Tilda with Summer Pants from the Pink Lemonade Collection, painted as always with Distress Re-Inkers and Pens.

Do you know Im still using the same re-inkers I bought years and years ago!

Papers used are TGM Noble Feathers by Riddersholm..Love this one♥
