VINTAGE VENTURE OG KURSUS REKLAME

Jeg vil starte dagens indlæg med at gøre lidt reklame for to kurser som jeg skal holde
hos Riddersholm Design i Randers.
Det ene kursus er et kort kursus med et feminint kort og det andet kursus er et rustik
layout kursus og du kan finde dem HER.

Til dagens kort har jeg brugt papir fra den lækre serie VINTAGE VENTURE.

Vintage Easter with Vintage Venture!

I was looking through my vintage images recently, getting ready to make some cards and I found these gorgeous Easter images that I had printed out last year, I thought they'd be perfect for my project this week! Vintage Venture has some lovely soft colors in it which are perfect for these cards.

My first card features the Carte paper and the Farewell paper. I covered the seam between the papers with some lace and also stitched around the edge of the card.  I added some gorgeous flowers from my stash then a twine bow and a paperclip to finish it off.

There were some really cool Easter images I found. Here is one again using the  Carte paper and the Farewell paper. I added some twine, some flowers and the "be happy" chipboard from Wycinaka.
I added stitching around the edge and another paper clip to finish it off.

I tend to stick to a theme when making a set of cards and this final one is no different. I used the Carte paper as my base and added a doily and vintage image with a lady and her basket of pastel eggs! Again I used flowers from my stash and a twine bow as well as gorgeous Wycinaka "love" chipboard. As I did before I finished off the card with some stitching and another little paper clip.

Layout using Newport and Vintage Venture Colleciton by Dunja

Hello everyone, 

today it's my time for a new inspiration with the gorgeous Riddersholm Design Papers.

After a long time I made a layout. The beautiful papers from Riddersholm are the basis of my layout. The papers are from the Newport and Vintage Venture Collection.

I've also used the Ken Oliver Crafts Color Burst Liquid Metals Metallic Mandarin and Yellow Gold. The glimmer is simply great.

In the center of the layout I've fixed several pennants that i cut out and fixed them an eyelet. The edges are distressed. Among the pennants I've used two paper doilies and a piece chipboard. The chipboard is circular, but I have it cut apart and divided, and glued them left and right of the doily.

   

 

  

Under the pennants I glued various paper straws. These are visible under de pennants.

The flower is from Prima Marketing. In the middle I placed a Chrystal.

The stamp in the background is also by Prima Marketing Inc., in this case of Finnabair. I have previously applied the chevrons with a stencil and texture paste. After drying, I've dropped Liquid Metals on the paper and sprayed it with water.

Vintage Venture Cards

Vintage Venture Cards.

Jeg håber, I alle er kommet godt ind i det nye år.

Jeg synes, det er sjovt at lave kort i atypiske størrelser.

Her er kortene lavet i 8,5x20cm. Jeg har i gemmerne fundet matchende kort

og kuverter, og så var det jo egentlig bare et spørgsmål om at komme i gang.

Her ses resultatet. Jeg har primært brugt papir fra Vintage Venture serien.

Dog er det super lækre og meget anvendelige papir med træstruktur fra Tailgate Marked.

Til det første kort har jeg brugt forskellige dies. De nederste er Border fra Cheery Lynn.

Jeg har også brugt en EKsucces punch.

Bladene i kraft karton er udskåret med en die.

Chipboards er fra Wycinanka.

Jeg har brugt lidt Washi-tape i kanterne,og så har jeg påført lidt glitter paste gennem en stencil.

Bånd og Twine er fra shoppen.

Til det næste kort har jeg brugt dies fra Tim Holtz Mixed Media, Spellbinders, Sue Wilson og Memory Box.

Rammen er støbt med stengips i silicone form.

Jeg har brugt Ink-it blomst med en metal charm oveni.

Sommerfuglen er lavet med en die fra Memory Box.

Håber I har kunnet finde lidt inspiration her.

Its Keren here again For Riddersholm Design this month with another card created using the Vintage Venture collection.

I really love this collection, especially the vintage feel. The paper with the butterflies and script writing gives the perfect background for this card.

I used the Ink It flowers as embellishments. I sprayed them with matching colours and used the sprays to splatter some ink onto the background.

Big Hugs | Gift Set (Box & Tag)

Hello everyone, do you enjoy these beautiful autumn days? :) Today I (Dunja) have a small set with the beautiful papers from Riddersholm for you. A small gift box that I've made with the Dutch Doobadoo Pumpkin Stencil and a small tag.

I have used design papers from the Vintage Venture Collection for the box. The basic is white cardstock. I cut two tags and fixed them at the bow. 

I embossed the box with Frantage Shabby White and used a few sequins for the deco.

The tag is made with the same paper of Riddersholm. It has also been embossed and decorated with punched parts and flowers. Likewise, a small banner, sequins and a button ..

Best Friend Card- By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren here For Riddersholm Design with a card created using the Vintage Venture collection.

I love the Vintage feel and colours of this collection and so I matched the embellishments to the papers.

I sprayed the Ink It flowers with matching colours to fit in with the vintage theme and also edged all the papers in brown. I also used some ribbon and twine to embellish the card.

Finally I used some sentiments from the Tailgate collection and added some ink splatters on the background.

Fast & easy Shabby Chic card tutorial by Marta Lapkowska

Hi everyone,
It's Marta Lapkowska here!
I am so very happy to be back to you with some new inspiration.

Today I would love to share with you some fast & easy project. It's layered card with shabby chic feeling. We will add lots of paper layers including random leftover paper pieces.

As my final touch I added beautiful paper flower, delicate ribbons and die cut butterfly.

Additionally I added some delicate chipboards.

I hope you will enjoy my video tutorial. Follow the steps and you will create some romantic shabby chic card perfect for every occasion.

En Pointe! A Vintage Venture layout by Cathi

Hello friends, Cathi here! I am back again for Riddersholm Designs with my latest project, a layout using the gorgeous Vintage Venture Blossoms paper! This week I decided to use some fun photos my daughter took of herself using my Ipad and a timer of her new pointe shoes, she's into her second pair already. Sigh. Hopefully for my budget these last a little longer.

In this first photo you can see I have used some Huntington Garden butterfly tag cut outs. I have also used a Riddersholm Ink-it bloom and tucked in a cute Prima ballerina resin and some twine loops.

I added some gorgeous Ink it cherry blossoms and some Riddersholm Glitter Glass to my layout. Here you can see some the butterflies I inked and added to the layout, as well as the masks and stamps I have used to add texture and dimension.  I titled the layout "En Pointe" "on pointe shoes"!

In my final photo you can see more flowers and resins added to the cluster, I tried to keep the movement flowing diagonally across the page. My feature flower is from Manor House flowers and is called appropriately enough for me, a Ballerina flower!

I had a great time adding layers of masking misting, stamping and glitter to my background and as always adding some great cut outs from the Riddersholm collections. Thanks for stopping by!!
