A few days ago, I got some of the wonderful new Ink-It flowers. I love how you can color them to match whatever papers you want to use. Today, I'm going to show you one way of coloring them with Distress Ink from Ranger.
I have used Distress Ink Victorian Velvet, which looks great with the pink shades in the Bello Pastello collection. You will also need two brushes - a flat brush and a very fine one.
Pick up some ink from the inkpad (or use the re-inkers) along with quite a lot of water, which will make the ink spread nicely over the mulberry paper.
Then, while the flower is still wet, use the fine brush with less water and paint the edges and center of the flower. The mulberry paper will start absorbing the ink and the darker edges will spread a little bit into the paper, creating an ombre effect. Let the flower dry completely.
Här har jag använt blommorna på en layout tillsammans med några Ink It-rosor. Jag kommer att visa framöver hur jag har färgat in dem.
Here, I have used the flowers on a layout, along with some Ink It roses. There will be a tutorial for them coming up later.
Have a wonderful day!
