På forkant med julen...

Hej!

...eller i hvert fald på forkant med julekortene...

Her er et julekort, hvor jeg har brugt Newport og Barn Market papir.

De "kolde" farver giver en fin vinterstemning synes jeg.

Jeg har delt/revet Newport Beach og penslet lim på de revne kanter.

Derefter er kanterne dyppet og drysset med klar, grov Glass Glitter.

Wycinanka stakittet er ligeledes penslet med lim og drysset/dyppet med hvid, fin glassglitter.

***

Ellers er der pyntet med hvide udstandsninger der er farvet med lidt clear Wink og Stella.

Hvide og brune filt "bolde", et par fjer, lidt sequins og halvperler.

Stemplet er fra Riddersholms julestempler.

Det er måske lidt tidlige med julekortene - men hvorfor ikke prøve at være i god tid i år :)

BARNMARKET

Så har jeg lavet mit første layout med den fantastiske nye serie BARNMARKET.
Blomsterne er alle hjemmelavet.

Weekenden den 14-15 November er der SCRAP- A-MANIA i Roskilde i Roskilde
Kongres- og Idrætscenter og Riddersholm Design deltager med butikken for første
gang så kom endelig og hils på os.

Super dygtig Sanne Kreativ afholder julehus kursus på Scrap-a-mania med den lækre
nye juleserie CHRISTMAS COSY , du kan finde kurset HER I RIDDERSHOLMS

I have an great announcement to make.... We have a new Girl onboard our fabulous Design Team.
Romy Veul is a young and so very talented girl from Holland. Please welcome her.
Romy's bio:

My name is Romy and I am a 22-year old paper crafter from the Netherlands. I study Linguistics at University by day, but love to spend time in my craft room at night. I started scrapbooking more than 9 years ago and was hooked to this wonderful creative outlet immediately. I think scrapbooking is a perfect combination of my passion for photography and journaling and my need to be creative. I consider myself both a scrapbooker and a cardmaker, as I make both projects a lot. I also like to try new things, such as altered items or mini albums, every once in a while. You could best describe my style as layered, detailed and romantic. I usually work with lots of layers on all of my projects and am most of all a paper girl, who loves working with different kinds of papers. I feel truly honoured to be asked as a guest designer for Riddersholm Design. I simply adore their gorgeous papers and am really looking forward to working with them.

Best Friend Card- By Keren Tamir

Hi Everyone,

Its Keren here For Riddersholm Design with a card created using the Vintage Venture collection.

I love the Vintage feel and colours of this collection and so I matched the embellishments to the papers.

I sprayed the Ink It flowers with matching colours to fit in with the vintage theme and also edged all the papers in brown. I also used some ribbon and twine to embellish the card.

Finally I used some sentiments from the Tailgate collection and added some ink splatters on the background.

Shaker-kort workshop på Scrapbooking Convention

Forrige weekend var jeg sammen med en masse andre scrappere til efterårets Scrapbooking Convention i Middelfart.

Som altid en mega hyggelig weekend! Denne gang også en mega travl weekend :)

Jeg hjalp til på Riddersholm Design standen, og havde i løbet af weekenden også to workshops med shakerkort.

Søndag stod jeg for endnu en workshop, og også den dag blev der lavet smukke kort.

Denne dag var kortet lavet med papirer fra den anden nye serie Newport

Indholdet i shakerkortene er noget af det lækre Glass Glitter fra shoppen. 

Har i fået fingre i de nye serier af papirer? De er så lækre, både Barn Market, Newport og juleserien Christmas Cosy

Christmas Cards with Christmas Story Papers!

This week I thought I'd get a head start on my Christmas cards! I used the gorgeous Christmas Story papers full of gorgeous muted pinks, greens and browns.

As usual, there are some gorgeous cut out images in the collection. I used this vintage Santa image and layered three sheets from the collection. For all my cards I used stunning red poinsettia blooms and for this card I added some pine cones, sparkles and a brad. I finished off the card with a twine loop bow.

I took another gorgeous image from the Christmas Story collection and set it on top of a gorgeous doily made from the papers. Again I used the poinsettias, pine cones and brads to decorate this card, adding a silk ribbon bow and a tag with a Christmas sentiment. For the finishing touch I did some stitching around the card's edge.

For my final card I took an image from my stash and then layered on lots of flowers, another poinsettia and some gorgeous Ink-It Cherry Blossoms. I added twine around the card and as a bow. Finally, I added stitching for a finishing touch.

I just love all of Riddersholm's Christmas collections! Look out for Christmas Cosy in store now!

Fast & easy Shabby Chic card tutorial by Marta Lapkowska

It's Marta Lapkowska here!
I am so very happy to be back to you with some new inspiration.

Today I would love to share with you some fast & easy project. It's layered card with shabby chic feeling. We will add lots of paper layers including random leftover paper pieces.

As my final touch I added beautiful paper flower, delicate ribbons and die cut butterfly.

Additionally I added some delicate chipboards.

I hope you will enjoy my video tutorial. Follow the steps and you will create some romantic shabby chic card perfect for every occasion.

Så kom dagen endelig hvor vi alle kunne få fingerne i Riddersholms Design`s tre
nye super lækre serier som du kan finde HER

Connie har lavet tre fantastiske serier hvor det feminien og det rå og maskuline
er mixet på en fantastisk måde og der er rigtig mange muligheder både for feminine
kort og bestemt også når man som jeg også elsker at lave maskuline kort.

Jeg lægger ud  med NEWPORT og har lavet et feminint kort hvor jeg også har brugt noget
af det lækre "træ" papir.
Jeg har brugt INK IT CHERRY BLOSSOM blomster og GLITTER GLASS SØLV.
